Never outgrow your car

I think I can work with this. It’s much easier for me to think of it as ignorance or a syndrome the advice-giver can’t help having than it is for me to deal with the fact that they just don’t care enough about our relationship to notice that they are damaging it with their constant advice that shadows any genuine interest they might have in my life.
